Suicide in hinduism

In Hinduism Suicide is not considered a sin, obviously no one advices a suffering person to kill himself, but let’s not add to his suffering by saying he is going to be punished further. Hinduism stands out from other religions by saying that we must fight our problems – there is no heaven to run away nor should we seek to escape suffering, instead we should work to end the suffering.
